Ward Bros Skip Hire Services Accreditations & Compliance

When it comes to waste management and skip hire all companies are required to have Accreditations & Compliance with the government’s requirements. This not only allows the government to know that we are doing the job in waste management and disposal correctly but also that our staff are safe.

At Ward Bros Skip Hire Service we have the following:

Waste management licence

If you use an incinerator and carry out the following activities you must have this licence by law.

Furthermore, you need a waste management licence if you:

Operate a landfill site
Carry out the final disposal of waste
Store other people’s waste
Treat waste, carry out recycling or use mobile plant

Fantastic service as always from Ward Bros. Skip arrived on Monday and was collected on Thursday evening after ringing re collection at 3pm even though they said it might be Tuesday after Easter. Prices are fantastic and definitely cheaper than any of the NE companies that I contacted who claimed to have the cheapest prices. Nice to get such great customer service in this day and age 👍👍👍👍

Absolutely spot on ! Needed a skip to remove a large amount of soil and leftovers from replacing a fence.Gave them a call and they were extremely helpful, friendly and professional. They advised me what size I needed, which worked out perfectly.The skip was delivered and the driver was top notch. Placed it in a convenient place, and offered plenty of advice and tips which was extremely helpful and was very much appreciated.Called the company the following Monday to advised the skip is ready to collect, again they were extremely friendly and helpful on the phone. Despite being very busy they collected the skip in the morning allowing me to carry on with the job. Although being a different driver He was still very professional, friendly and efficient.All in all a very easy and proffesional service from Ward Brothers, especially for a home DIY job. Thank you very much to all those involved, you have the business right.Thank you

Fantastic!! Very helpful lady on the phone who booked the skip to be dropped exactly on time. Really pleased to have a clean, 'posh' skip as it was on the drive and it was placed perfectly - thanks to the driver! Once filled it was collected promptly, very well timed as it was the day of storm Eowyn. I was very impressed both by service, timing and price and would not hesitate to book again - I won't be going anywhere else - thanks very much!

Have used them three times now. Really polite and professional. Drivers are fab and always call beforehand and put the skip exactly where we have asked them. Always deliver and collect exactly as required. Highly recommend their services. Would not use anyone else.

Communication was spot on throughout, the receptionists were lovely to speak with and were very knowledgeable on what size skip I needed and logistics.I used a 3 yard domestic skip for a garden project and it was perfectly fit for purpose. Arrived and was taken away first thing on both specified days - driver was lovely too.Will definitely use again, thank you!

Booked a skip a week in advance of day needed, lady I spoke to was very helpful and offered a very competitive price. On day skip was required it arrived on time with a very friendly and knowledgeable driver. Called when skip was ready for collection and it was picked up same day. This is not the first time we have used ward bros, won’t be last and highly recommend them.

Brilliant service from this company. Turned up to a really difficult spot to get a skip wagon down in rookhope.Driver went above and beyond to help make the job of clearing the waste as quick as possible as to not inconvenience the neighbours.Would definitely use again.Outstanding service

First time I’ve used this company for skip hire. Are they good? NO, they’re excellent!! Cost was comparable with others offering this service but customer care was outstanding. Skip arrived 10 minutes into the two hour window I was given and collection was equally good. Drivers were pleasant and efficient taking only minutes to leave/pickup the skip. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend

Waste Carrier Licence

A waste carrier licence is needed for any business that buys, sells, transports and disposes of waste. This also covers the aforementioned to do so on their behalf too. The Environment Agency developed this licence to assist in reducing harm to the environment and general health by making sure that waste is disposed of correctly.

Management Compliance Certification

Furthermore, Ward Bros Skip Hire Services complies with the requirements of ISO 14001: 2015. This allows us to move, recycle, crush and screen earth and also provide skips to both the commercial and domestic marketplace.

Company Insurance

As with all companies, waste management companies also need company insurance. This is not only to protect our staff but also the public and our clients. Therefore, feel free to read our insurance documents and download them if you require them.
